Moodle is a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) available both in the College and from any computer you use outside of Killester College of Further Education (KCFE).

Moodle is an online environment that allows KCFE staff to provide students with access to learning materials (such as class notes, presentations and links to useful websites) and activities (such as discussion forums and quizzes).

Moodle is used in KCFE over a variety of modules: in some cases Moodle resources and activities may be additional to your class notes.

Logging into Moodle

In order to access Moodle you will require an internet connection and web browser, such as Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox.  Open your web browser and go to  in the login enter your username and password provided by the college at induction.  You can then click on your course name and subsequently click on individual modules and your class tutor will provide you with an enrolment key.  You can then download class notes to your own computer.

We hope you enjoy using this open source learning environment and that it will enhance your overall learning experience with us here at KCFE.
