Local History
People, places and times past: An introduction to local history research.
An introduction to all the sources for local history which includes research methods & organising your research; primary and secondary sources and where to find them; how family, local and national histories relate; appraising sources and writing up your findings. Topics include records relating to land, placenames and folklore, buildings, architecture and archaeology.

The cost of this course is €100, even if a student misses classes. Class days and times are subject to change.
